Rachel, Ben, and Hyrum came down to the BYU Game...
They went to the game with friends.
Brad,Tracy, Matt, Hyrum, and I yelled at the TV...
It was great fun !!

Spring is Here ?????

Besides the orange cones the sure sign of Spring in Utah is the snow on the tulips.
Here it is April 30,2011 at 9:00 in the morning....
Did I mention I love the change of seasons (I wish it would change )

The Joy of Great Grandchildren and memories

I received the cutest surprise in the mail.. Notes from the Harris Family.. It was so cute I just had to put it on the refrigerator. I brought back sweet memories of my children, and grandchildren and the clear display bag that once hung on the refrigerator with the latest art work.... Some of which turn up in my paintings
Love it....Thank you Maren and Lydia.... Great Grandma Scott loves you !

The Johnson girls had a pool party and Marilee (Karyn's Oldest) and John's home.
They "went in" with a neighbor and one build the pool and one a great pool house with a huge room for entertaining. A great idea. Of course the food was soooo good and I really appreciated them inviting the "old aunts" Thanks Johnsons

Return with Honor

RETURNING WITH HONOR
Max arrived at 2:35 Wednesday the 18th of August. He looked great and was wearing a cowboy hat to please the family.. He has had a great mission and learned and taught and I can't wait to hear him on Sunday the 22nd of August.
The family has gathered in Salt Lake City for a few days to share some family time with Max. We did miss Jill who is toooo close to having her baby to fly or drive. Candise "skyped" with her and we got to say hello...Helen and I had a fun time Wednesday and Thursday driving back and forth (we love our own bed)and visiting with the family and each other.

Brad and Tracy are surrounded by family, brothers, sisters, Philip and Amy, Matt, and Ben and Rachel. It is a bright spot in their lives. Being together as a family is wonderful support for them.. And spending time with their beautiful little grandchildren is a bright spot at this time.

I guess I really am not keeping up... I don't seem to have enough going on to blog about...
But today I am feeling up and down. I love Liz and am missing her... Yes I know she is in a wonderful place, but I didn't get enough time with her. There was a beautiful display at the funeral and viewing and I thought I'd share the pictures.. The BYU flew the flag at 1/2 mast, Her Daddy picked a casket of red and black her choice for what was to be her wedding. My mind tells me she's happy but my heart is still sad.
